APD investigates death at park in the Foothills - Yahoo News

5—ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Police Department homicide detectives are investigating after a person was found dead in a park in the Foothills.

Gilbert Gallegos, an APD spokesman, said officers were called to Singing Arrow Park, near Four Hills south of Central, Monday morning.

"A passerby called 911 about 7:45 a.m. to report an individual in the park who appeared to be unconscious," Gallegos wrote in an email.

"(Albuquerque Fire Rescue) responded and determined the individual was deceased."

He did not say how the person died, identify them, or say if there are any suspects.
