Out of the packaging, the pillow seems fluffy enough. It takes some time to decompress and requires a fluff session in the dryer before use. Once it was fully expanded, we had high hopes for its performance. At first, the shredded foam feels responsive. It seems ideal for people who like a softer, fluffy pillow. There’s also some noticeable off-gassing at first, which fades after a few days. Sleeping on it is another story. The shredded memory foam ended up feeling noticeably lumpy — like shredded cotton balls — rather than soft and responsive.
