2 new Food Lion grocery stores open in Spartanburg County - WYFF4 Greenville

Two new grocery stores have opened in the Upstate. They are both Food Lions. The first one is in Chesnee and is located at 712 S. Alabama Ave. This was a BI-Lo store before. The new store is open daily from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue my career with Food Lion,” said Tina Bennet, store manager of the new Food Lion who has lived in the Chesnee area for 25 years. “I’m also grateful to continue to serve the associates and the community as we open our new Food Lion. I look forward to seeing our neighbors and seeing them enjoy the new store.”The other new Food Lion store is in Inman at 11153 Asheville Highway.It is also open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. “I have called Inman home for 23 years and I am honored to be a part of the new Food Lion,” said Wade Dunagin, store manager of the new Food Lion. “I am excited about serving the community in which I call home. I look forward to giving Inman a store and staff it can always count on.”
