From her high school AP art class, she taught Aka-Bashorun (also known as Ola) to express himself through art.
Like the photos Ola discovered as a kid in his father's wallet after moving to America.
To see Ola's work, a not-so-hidden gem in Clarksville, find the downtown Clarksville gallery on Second Street, its interior visible through the glass and lit by soft, natural light and neon sticky notes from visitors.
To those afraid to embrace creativity through self-expression, he advices: “Fear to start is failure to begin with.”
