UW Stevens Point Plans Vaccine Clinic - WXPR

The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point is teaming up with Marshfield Clinic for a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic this Saturday on campus.

One thousand shots will be given on a first come first serve basis.

“It serves as a signal that we are indeed turning the corner, and we’re nearing a more familiar life.”The clinic will be offering the single-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine meaning it'll be "one and done" for anyone that can get in.

“Folks are really excited about the prospect of being able to have one and be done, if you will.”Gibson hopes students will take advantage of the clinic especially since they are offering the single-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

At this time there are no plans for a second clinic.
