SAYREVILLE, NJ -- Congressman Frank Pallone (D, NJ-6) visited the Middlesex County Vaccination Site in Sayreville Friday to talk about the American Rescue Plan and how it will help accelerate COVID-19 vaccine distribution and administration in the county and throughout New Jersey.
Pallone says that community health centers in New Jersey will receive nearly $130 million from the American Rescue Plan to expand access to COVID-19 vaccines, testing, treatment, and preventative health services in underserved areas.
I’m pleased to see that funding from the American Rescue Plan is making its way to our state to ensure that the hardest-hit and highest-risk communities across the country have access to COVID-19 vaccines and testing,” Pallone said.
Other Middlesex County elected officials were in Sayreville to celebrate passage of the American Rescue Plan.
Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez (D, NJ LD-19) expressed gratitude for the American Rescue Plan.
