The nine-story, 205-room Marriott Autograph Hotel is proposed at 420 W. Juneau Ave., just north of Fiserv Forum.

Madison-based North Central Group LLC plans to operate the Marriott Autograph on land that will be leased from the Milwaukee Bucks.

Each Marriott Autograph hotel carries its own brand, said Andy Inman,North Central vice president of development.

The Marriott Autograph is among a series of new hotels proposed for the downtown area.

Stephanie Bloomingdale, Plan Commission chair, said she appreciates North Central pursuing the investment despite the pandemic's effects on the hotel industry.
