Jury duty unlocked Terrence McCallion was found fully-clothed in the river by a group on-board a houseboat between Bruce’s Bend and Psyche Pumps in Mildura about 3pm on May 1 in 2015.

The message to the mysterious caller on Friday followed an appeal to the public earlier in the week for crucial details leading up to the death of Terrence McCallion.

Terrence McCallion was found fully-clothed in the Murray River about 3pm on May 1 in 2015.

The man was on the river bank at the time Mr McCallion entered the water and police say he began yelling out for those on the passing houseboat to help.

“The death of a parent is never easy but the violent nature of dad’s death and the mystery surrounding it made it especially traumatic,” it said.
