Rhyne Howard vs. Caitlin Clark: Kentucky-Iowa game will feature dueling All-Americans - Courier Journal

With 14 seconds remaining in the FIBA U19 World Cup gold medal game on July 28, 2019, Team USA trailed Australia by three points.
Unable to shoot the free throws, Howard’s USA teammate, Caitlin Clark — now a star for Iowa — took them in her place.
As the USA U19 team smiled for a photo after the game, Howard put her arm around Clark, gold medals hanging from each player’s neck.
She leads the nation in scoring with 26.7 points per game and ranks second in assists with 7.2 per outing.
“They’re a very good team,” UK coach Kyra Elzy said Sunday.
