Setting the record straight!
Lisa Vanderpump is making it clear that the crown jewel in her West Hollywood restaurant empire isn’t going anywhere!
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shut down rumors that her restaurant, PUMP, closed its doors for good due to a tax issue.
Last week The Sun reported that the California Franchise Tax Board “suspended” PUMP indefinitely due to “problems with taxes.”
LVP quickly shut down the claims and insisted there was no truth to the rumors of PUMP‘s closure.
“Just shut up,” Lisa tweeted. “Taxes were delayed because everybody was working from home and restaurants were closed. At least it wasn’t in Chapter 11 like 10,000 others that have closed across America.” “Apparently, I have got to the bottom of it,” she added. “It was [a] $250 filing fee from 2016. So important, worthy of a headline… said no one ever. Geez, 10,000 restaurants have closed for good… so sad.” The Vanderpump Rules HBIC also revealed that PUMP would be re-opening on March 17 and asked for an end to the negativity. “Ok, a big week coming; it’s been a long year, but filming three shows has definitely kept me busy…Overserved airs on [E! March] 18th it’s so much fun, PUMP opens [the] 17th,” Lisa tweeted. “No time for negativity, let’s get going this year and bring our lives back in the “RoaringTwenties’ Thank you all for your amazing support thru these crazy times. Off to do my podcast,” she continued. Meanwhile, amid all the drama in LVP’s life, Lisa Rinna decided to stir the pot and throw some shade at her. It’s no secret that the Lisas didn’t get along during their time on RHOBH together. Even though they are no longer co-stars, they continue to throw shade at each other on social media and in interviews. Rinna shared a throwback video of when the RHOBH cast appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live show in Los Angeles. In the clip, Vanderpump shaded Rinna for selling “selling dusters and diapers.” However, Rinna got the last laugh as she clapped back in a major way. “Guess what, honey? Do you know how much I’ve made on those dusters and diapers? A lot more than your restaurants, I am sure,” Rinna said as the WWHL audience exploded in an uproar. Rinna captioned the post: “I feel like this is aging really well. I love a shady boot moment, don’t you?” View this post on Instagram A post shared by L I S A R I N N A (@lisarinna)
